June is Pride Month! The Castro is buzzing with positive energy and pride.
I love supporting LGBTQ families.
Whether you are starting a family on your own, with your partner/spouse, and/or with a donor or surrogate, I am happy to support you with acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.
Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine can help with enhancing fertility and can offer natural support through pregnancy and postpartum. Acupuncture helps balance the whole body for mind-body support. I also recommend that non-conceiving partners/spouses consider scheduling acupuncture treatments to support yourself through the fertility and pregnancy process.
San Francisco is a welcoming city for LGBTQ families. From the midwives and OB/GYNs to the Reproductive Endocrinologists, my patients have experienced excellent care. And in my experience, doctors strive to be welcoming and supportive of the LGBTQ community. I notice that they seek to reflect their inclusivity in the language they use on their forms and handouts. They aren’t always perfect, but in my experience they are very open to learning and growing.
In our appointment, I am always happy to share specific practitioner referrals based on your family’s needs.
Here are some helpful community resources to help you start or expand your family:
